Skylar Ibarra, LCSW, PMH-C

Skylar Ibarra, LCSW, PMH-C (she/her) is a therapist in private practice in Brea, California where she provides Neurodiversity Affirming therapy to individuals and couples. Her clinical focuses include perinatal mental health, complex developmental trauma, and OCD. Skylar is an EMDRIA-approved Consultant-in-Training under the mentorship of Dr. Mara Tesler Stein and offers consultation to those seeking Certification or wanting to further explore their clinical practice. She is also a Certified Trauma Resiliency Model Practitioner and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional.


Skylar received her Master of Social Welfare from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs where she was awarded the prestigious Bohnett Fellowship and earned a Certificate in Global Public Affairs with a concentration in Global Health and Social Services. She pairs her rigorous training with her lived experience as neurodivergent and a perinatal OCD survivor to provide a holistic, person-centered approach when providing therapy, trainings, and consultation.
Skylar is passionate about empowering others with the information and resources they need to successfully obtain their goals. She deeply believes that knowledge is meant to be not just shared, but talked through so that it resonates with each individual within their own experience.
