As we step into 2025, the Touchstone team feels a deep sense of gratitude for all we accomplished together in 2024. Your presence and openness gave life to every lesson, training, and conversation.
In 2024, we welcomed 948 enrollments. Among these were 752 students, ready to learn, connect, and make a difference in perinatal mental health. Each enrollment reflects a set of hopes and a commitment to serve clients during an often tender and challenging season of life. These figures aren’t just data points; they represent your dedication to deepening your therapeutic practice.
Beyond our virtual classrooms, your involvement continued to shape our shared efforts. Our Therapist Network of alumni grew to 230 practitioners, each bringing their experiences and perspectives. Together, you formed a community that openly exchanges wisdom, support, and thoughtfulness. Your passion guides us, reminding us that growth in perinatal mental health care springs from listening as much as leading.
We also welcomed several new members to our ecosystem of experts this past year, totaling 21 instructors, 30 consultants, and 4 team members. With their knowledge and dedication, we offered a range of learning experiences, including:
17 live trainings inviting real-time dialogue and shared learning
11 self-paced courses honoring your own rhythms and pacing
2 on-demand series supporting flexible, ongoing engagement
Beyond these numbers, the strength of our community lies in the compassion and connection you foster. Your willingness to share, listen, and learn together fuels Touchstone’s mission.
Our Foundational EMDR Training Manual
In 2024, we finalized our Foundational EMDR Training Manual, a nearly 300-page resource for those enrolled in or preparing to enroll in our EMDR trainings. Thank you for helping us to actualize our goal of creating a living document—one that honors evolving best practices and remains open to community input, much like the work you do every day.
On the Horizon
This past fall, our Founder and Director, Mara Tesler Stein, signed on to edit EMDR for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. With contributions from our talented community, this resource will be accessible, practical, and deeply aligned with the realities practitioners face. We believe this resource will be accessible, practical, and helpful for EMDR therapists everywhere. Touchstone is honored to shepherd this initiative and support those who share their knowledge.
As we welcome 2025, we hold the achievements and experiences of 2024 close. Each voice, question, insight, and collaboration has shaped where Touchstone is today. Thank you for your presence and for believing in the difference thoughtful, engaged professionals can make. May this next year bring even richer conversations, deeper understanding, and more opportunities to strengthen the care we offer to those who rely on us.
