About the Training
In this self-paced course, you’ll explore the complicated landscape of parenting in the NICU and beyond with clinician Mara Tesler Stein, PsyD, PMH-C and developmental psychologist Deborah L. Davis, PhD. This informative, engaging course can boost your competence and build your confidence in the important work you do with NICU parents and families.
This workshop will equip you with the insight and skills you need to understand, support, and therapeutically intervene with these families, and parents will benefit from your calm competence and compassionate support during their NICU experience, and beyond.
This workshop is constructed from recordings of workshops held in late 2022.
CE credits are calculated based on total video content hours. Readings are supplemental and are not calculated towards CE credit. A post-workshop quiz is required in order to obtain CE credits.
Continuing Education Approvals
This course offers 18 CEs. The Touchstone Institute is approved by the APA, ASWB/ACE & NBCC to offer continuing education credits. The course is approved by EMDRIA and PSI (to maintain the PMH-C).
